Two in One Destination: Strawberry de Cantipla & Strawberry Snack Hauz
Did you know that strawberry is the only fruit that shows off its seeds on the outside? And strawberry is considered a pseudo-fruit and is also part of the rose family. So now we can meet the strawberry clan by just traveling by land. This new eco-farm at Cantipla - Strawberry de Cantipla is just 27 kilometers from Capitol, Cebu City.
Opened just a week ago, this strawberry eco-farm is situated in between a fork in the road. If you go there coming from Cebu City you will not miss it (as shown in the 1st gallery, 1st photo below). If you travel from Balamban, it is at the right side of the road (as shown in the 1st gallery, 2nd photo below).

1st Gallery showing the exterior part of the farm, the snack hauz and its refreshments . It has two entrances. The 2nd photo below is the entrance to the snack hauz and the 3rd photo is the entrance going directly to the farm. Entrance fee is at 30.00 php/pax as of this posting.
The strawberry fruit tastes so sweet that it doesn't need a pair (like me hahaha!). I have eaten strawberries in Japan but its a bit sour in taste so cream is a perfect fit. The strawberry cheese burger tastes so good and I like how the strawberry shake is prepared, it has milk and no sugar. I had the pancakes for take away. My sister and her son devoured it, they liked it a lot.
