Sunsets at John Rothwell Bay

Hello there!
Welcome to my dormant blog of two years - Jansuroy.
If you’re a friend back in the 90’s you’ll easily figure out why this blog site is baptised as Jansuroy. Since some of you are not my age ahaha maybe older or younger than I am. I will share a bit why.
This is the simple equation: Jan + su + roy = Jansuroy.
where:
Jan = the 1st syllable of my first name Janet
Su = the 1st syllable of my surname Suico
Roy = the 2nd syllable of the visayan word suroy or to stroll in English.
Therefore it's Jansu strolling.
By profession I am a Civil Engineer. So I am civilised now and for the past 22 years I have been civilly married to Mr. Si not the Sy Henry but to Mr. Si (Shipbuilding industry). I used to joke to myself in silence (taym pa mura ko ug buang ani da! pero padayun tas unahan..) that the only license that is so hard for me to acquire is that of marriage. ROFL. So sailing on...
Since I am into ships, there should be a body of water specifically the vitamin sea. So sometime back in June 2016 while I was prayerfully sailing, I was blown by the easterlies and was able to securely docked at a place called WCIP (West Cebu Industrial Park). Beyond a shadow of a doubt, I casted my anchor and tied the mooring line to an Austal mooring cleat.
Austal (https://www.austal.com/) is an Australian-based global ship building company with a location here in the west side of Cebu in Balamban, facing the Negros island divided by the Taňon Strait. I now work here for four years and counting.
This May 2020 is my 1st year anniversary here in Austal Philippines John Rothwell Bay or a.k.a Bay 10. Previously, my work station for three years was at Bay 3 and it’s 120 metres away from Bay 10. Bay 10 is such an amazing workplace to be at as it exhibits a live transition of priceless screen saver of God's beautiful sunset painting each day.
So the blog title is "Sunsets at John Rothwell Bay" and I am happy to share with you all the sunset photos I captured for the past one year. The simple camera I am using for all my sunset photos is a 2016 Huawei CAM-L21 smartphone. I am also proud to share with you that all my sunset photos are raw shots, not filtered and not edited.
I pray you'll enjoy and experience God's goodness through sunsets. :-)
Randomly from May 2019 to Dec 2019
Randomly from January 2020 to May 2020
P.S. I still have a lot of photos to share here but its stored in my external disk at home in Mandaue. We're still apart as of the moment due to ECQ. I'll add more sunset photos to this blog when summer is gone... So I'll see you in September?
