Piniritong Lumayagan ug Litog

Piniritong Lumayagan ug Litog in english, Fried Squid and Seashell Meat/ Clam.

Tomorrow is my Monday of the week at work. I took two days off taking care of my mother in the hospital but more on running errands here and there.

I miss my mama and papa's cooked meals at home. So by the time I arrived at Prenza, Balamban I decided to visit Balamban Public Market to get some stuff to cook by myself.

See whatta fresh catch I got!

Ingredients:

  • 1 piece squid (approx. 750g)

  • 250g seashell meat/ clam

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 2 tablespoon kikkoman soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp native coconut vinegar

  • pinch of salt and pepper

  • coconut oil or lard oil

Preparation:

  • Clean the squid and seashell meat/ clam with water

  • Marinate the squid and seashell meat/ clam for 30 minutes using 3 cloves garlic, 2 tablespoon kikkoman soy sauce, 2 tbsp native coconut vinegar, pinch of salt and pepper

Cooking:

  • Heat coconut oil or lard oil in a pan

  • Fry the 1 piece squid (approx. 750g) then the 250g seashell meat/ clam until cooked

  • Grate some zucchini

  • Serve on a plate with style!

Take a lot of photos then blog about it! :-)
